BSIA recognises incredible contributions of Security Personnel

The British Security Industry Association (BSIA) is proud to announce the winners of its Regional Security Personnel Awards 2016.

The Security Personnel Awards, which are now in their eighteenth year, serve to recognise the incredible achievements and long-term contributions made by professionals working within the UK's private security industry.

The awards are presented in five different categories: Best Team, Outstanding Act, Service to the Customer, Best Newcomer and Best Use of Technology. This year, 34 winners have been awarded across all five categories in all regions of the UK.

Commenting on the awards, James Kelly, Chief Executive of the BSIA, said: "The Security Personnel Awards are presented to individuals in recognition of some exceptional achievements, from quick thinking in an emergency, to excellence in customer service. This year's award winners represent the very best of the security industry and demonstrate how high the calibre of individuals employed in our industry is.

"The BSIA prides itself upon representing the very best of the security industry and the outstanding contributions made by our regional award winners certainly shows that our members employ people to be proud of. We are extremely honoured to be associated with the talent displayed by our winners and look forward to presenting them with their awards."

The award presentations will take place across the UK over the coming months, with each of the regional winners being put forward to the national judging phase. The national winners will then be invited to receive their award at the Association's Annual Luncheon in London on July 12th.
The BSIA would like to thank Camberford Law plc - specialist insurance brokers to the security industry - who have sponsored the awards since their inception.
