Announcing 'Locks & Security Monthly', a new magazine dedicated to professional locksmiths and associated trades.

From September this year, professional locksmiths will have their own brand new controlled circulation magazine - Locks & Security Monthly (LASM).

LASM will provide locksmiths and allied trades with a lively and informative mix of news, people, events, marketing and business and in-depth articles on 'key' subjects.

LASM is written by locksmiths - for locksmiths. It will be edited by Mick Friend, author of 'The Encyclopedia for Locksmiths', former chairman of the Master Locksmiths Association, and former editor of both Keyways and the Locksmith magazines. And of course he is a highly experienced locksmith himself.

The publishing team also includes Norman Setra, writer and publisher, who will take responsibility for publishing and sales. The third member of the team is John Austen, publisher of Locks and Security News as well as a number of other successful electronic magazines. Both John and Norman have had long careers in trade and technical magazine publishing.

Our intention is to provide locksmiths with the very best content that is clearly laid out, informative and unbiased.

LASM will be sent out free of charge each month to a carefully controlled circulation. It is not intended for hobbyists or those with little or no training. Our aim is always to raise standards and discourage those individuals and companies that damage the reputation of our industry.
