UAP Tradelocks comments on MLA Expo 2011
"What a brilliant show. A Fantastic Weekend for the Locksmithing World. We would like to thank the industry experts that joined us on our stand including Chris Belcher, Les Burgess, Martin Pink and Nigel Tolley who proved popular with visitors, many of which bagged some handy tips on their new tools. We were also joined by our American friends Jim Broadhurst and Jim Hetchler, along with our Chinese colleagues Queenie and Hattie.
"The EPG2 was a hit and sold out twice over the weekend despite our efforts to restock after the first day. Our new products also went down a treat with the Letterbox tool also selling out, but don't worry they're back in stock and available on our website www.tradelocks.co.uk
"Congratulations to Mark Funston from North West Emergency Locksmiths Ltd who won our 'How Quick Can You Pick?' competition and an EPG2. It all got very competitive on our stand and Mark managed to pick the lock in an incredible 0.31 seconds.
"For those of you who attended the MLA exhibition at the weekend, you might have noticed some strange looking barcodes lying around the place, or for those technical smartphone using folk- QR codes.
"A QR (Quick Response) code allows smartphone users (Apple, Blackberry, Android etc.) to easily access information, pictures or websites. Simply download a QR scanner application from your app store, and hover your camera over the QR image and you will instantly be transferred to the relevant information.
"Those who spotted the QR codes got their hands on a FREE Mortice Drill Template.
