The biggest news for us this week concerns the new Auto Locksmiths show planned for next October. To be held at the same successful venue as the Locksmiths' Exhibition, the East Midlands Conference Centre, the event offers great accessibility from all directions, and of course, tremendous value for exhibitors. If you are in this field - or want to be - be sure to read the news item below.

Today is the UK public sector workers strike. While much of the mainstream media reports have naturally concerned school closures and hospitals, as things most likely to affect our day to day lives, border security is obviously a major concern as well. There may be long queues snaking through airports and a complete absence of security at sea ports, although according to a government statement, this will not be the case as effective measures have been planned and taken. Although many will say the doors were wide open anyway. We'll know later, won't we?
