Integration enables "jump to IP surveillance in a cost-managed way"

Infinova has announced that Infinova dealers and integrators will be able to help their customers, including K-12 and college/university users, retailers and transportation venues, enhance their security operations and improve performance using intelligent digital video solutions with Infinova IP and megapixel cameras running on Video Insight digital video management (VMS) systems.

As a result, Infinova dealers and integrators will be able to help their customers use map and floor plan based navigation to view live and recorded video from anywhere on the internet, network or using their smart phones.

"Our partnership with Video Insight is another example of how we are helping Infinova dealers and integrators say 'yes' to more projects, including those in markets as specialized as education, retail and transportation," says Mark S. Wilson, Infinova Vice President, marketing.

"Using Infinova's popular IP and megapixel cameras in tandem with Video Integration software, even users planning to have existing analog cameras coexist with new digital models will be able to do so easily and efficiently. That's because both Video Insight software and many of Infinova's megapixel cameras support both analog and digital coexistence."

"Since Infinova provides megapixel, IP and analog surveillance cameras, including specialised cameras, control room equipment, fibre optic communications and customised systems, our users will be able to match exactly the video hardware needed at each individual location in their facility," adds Robert Shaw, CEO, Video Insight. "For those already using analog cameras, they will be able to jump to IP surveillance in a cost-managed way that extends the life of their existing system."

Focused exclusively on writing digital video recording software, Video Insight updates its software on a monthly basis with major upgrades released yearly. This provides users with the benefit of great technical support since they can talk directly to the developers that write the application.
