After hearing that during a security test a pretend bomb was successfully smuggled into the Olympic Park (at least they are carrying out security tests), we learn that confidential anti-terrorism documents have been left on a train. Now we hear that potential MI5 recruits have a 15 minute internet quiz to see if they are suitable for the service. If they pass, maybe the first lessons should be: 'chain your bloody briefcase / laptop to your wrist when taking the train; don't throw away any documents without shredding first (and certainly not in public parks); oh and don't engage sexy Russians to be your secretary.' Whatever next?
On the upside, there is just one stand remaining at the Locksmiths' Exhibition in March. If you have thought about showing but have not yet made the final decision, better do so now.
