Drain covers marked with forensic grease visible in ultra-violet light in unique bid to beat the metal thieves

Metal theft has rapidly become one of the fastest growing crimes in the country, and so one city council has had to come up with a rather unique way to protect its valuable drain covers. Birmingham City Council is marking the grills on its drains with forensic grease, which is visible under ultraviolet light.
