Locksmith killed during legal eviction

A locksmith hired to help in the process of evicting a California tenant was shot dead, along with the sheriff's deputy serving the eviction notice, police said last Friday. In addition to the two men shot dead, a lone body has been found inside the charred ruins of the Modesto, California, apartment building, Modesto police Officer Chris Adams told CNN.

The locksmith who lost his life while doing his job was identified as Glendon David Engert, 35, of Modesto, CA. Mr Engert was described as a 'nice and peaceful person'. He lost his life while changing the locks of the suspect's foreclosed home.
