Yales doormaster key to saving locks for UPVC glazing repair specialists

* UPVC-Glazing-Repair-specialist.jpgUPVC Glazing Repair Specialists has adopted Yale's Doormaster multipoint locking range to meet growing demand for replacement multipoint locks and provide a more efficient repair and maintenance service for PVC-U and composite doors.

The Liverpool based repair specialist has introduced the new Yale range to help customers revitalise, rather than replace, their entrance doors in the event of multipoint lock failure and can now offer householders a 'one visit, one repair' solution thanks to the Doormaster range.

Multipoint locks are fitted to 80% of all new external residential doors and many older multipoint locks are reaching the end of their lifecycle. Over the coming months and years, growing numbers of multipoint locks are expected to fail, with over one million expected to require replacement in 2012.

Yale Doormaster is a cleverly designed, compact range of replacement locks, replacement gearboxes and "overnight" locks, which enables installers to instantly repair or replace the multipoint locks in virtually all PVCu, composite and timber doors.

Mark Bellis of UPVC Glazing Repair Specialists said: "We are starting to see an increase in demand for replacement multipoint locks and until now, there hasn't been a product range available that allows us to repair or replace a failing or broken multipoint lock in just one visit. By using Yale's Doormaster range, we can not only provide customers with an instant solution, but provide a more efficient overall service and one that delivers peace of mind, as their replacement lock is from a security brand they already know and trust."

UPVC Glazing Repair Specialists offers homeowners the high security Doormaster Professional range, which includes three croppable replacement locks, offering 'like for like' security for virtually all multipoint locks with 35mm and 45mm backsets on all door types.

The Professional range also includes eight replacement gearboxes covering most of the market, and for emergency installations where temporary door repairs are required, there are seven "overnight" locks available, which will quickly and economically secure 90% of doors.

UPVC Glazing Repair Specialists uses the two Doormaster Universal replacement multipoint locks, offering one hook, two roller and two mushroom mushrooms security for all centre gearbox locks with 35mm and 45mm backsets in PVCu doors.

The Universal locks are supplied with a completely pre-assembled easy-fit one piece keep and all fixings. They also utilise the patented Uni-packer system, which fits virtually all PVCu profiles and makes fitting keeps to the door frame extremely straightforward.

Alongside the Universal and Professional Doormaster ranges, an Adjustable replacement multipoint lock is available which is even easier to fit as it avoids a requirement to crop on site and can be easily adapted to provide 'like for like' security for 90% of multiple gearbox locks with 35mm backsets in PVCu doors.

Richard Thompson of Yale UK, added: "By adopting a solution such as Yale's Doormaster(tm) range, UPVC Repair Specialists can deal with failing locks much more efficiently, which means more business, more satisfied customers, and less time wasted. Not only is this good news from a commercial perspective, it also provides the business with the opportunity to benefit from the strength of the Yale brand."
