Jarad Morrison, Communications & Membership Manager, Master Locksmiths Association of Australasia, writes to LASN:

It's an exciting time in Australia in and around September and October, with the AFL Grand Final, NRL Grand Final, Spring Racing Carnival, Bathurst and many other sporting and cultural events.

If your visiting from the UK, you're encouraged to visit Adelaide and join us for the 2012 Master Locksmiths Association of Australasia's Trade Expo & training Weekend.

2012 Trade Expo & Training Weekend

After a highly successful event in Tasmania in 2011, this year's MLAA Trade Expo & Training Event will hit Adelaide on October 5 & 6. (Training will carry over to Sunday (7th).

In 2012 the event will take on a new format, a format that will certainly create a lot of excitement within the industry, keep locksmiths and exhibitors busy over the Expo period and a format that makes the event more accessible for locksmith businesses and its staff.

In 2012 a large room will be devoted to Automotive Locksmithing only and a second distinct exhibition area will focus on 'The Craft' .

Both will display the latest equipment and provide hands-on training on today's locksmithing tools and equipment, as well as refresher-training on skills locmskiths have been demanding.

We are also pleased to announce that registration prices are significantly lower than previous years.

The MLAA Trade Expo & Training Event is an industry wide event, so all locksmiths, staff, apprentices, MLAA members, non-members, industry stakeholders, those involved in the wider security field or those with a general interest are invited to attend!

We are expecting a bumper crowd in the City of Churches, so please get involved and participate in the 2012
