You can learn from ALEX!

ALEX 2013, taking place over the weekend of Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th October at the East Midlands Conference Centre, Nottingham, is going to be the place to learn about all aspects of auto locksmithing. Show organiser Mick Friend has once again put together a full programme of live demonstrations, workshops and master classes to suit all levels of experience and abilities.

He says: "This year we will have activities taking place in different parts of the venue. For example, in the main demonstration area, we'll have live demos on different makes of car, filmed and projected onto two plasma screens. These demos include live commentary and an opportunity to ask questions."

"We'll also have a new one-to-one drop in workshop, hosted by Martin Pink and Richard Breslin. They'll be offering advice on using Lishi tools, various opening techniques and offering a free pick health check. Don't forget to book in advance and remember to bring your own picks and a lock."

"If you are new to auto locksmithing and considering entering this market, Hickleys will be presenting 'unlocking the key to success' in the lecture theatre. This presentation will give you all the information you need on start up costs; charge out rates, pay backs scenarios and best practice on all the different options."

ALEX main show sponsors KAP Diagnostics will present a live demonstration on a Fiat vehicle of ABRITES Fiat Key Learning Function via OBDII (No PIN necessary) Special Function. Secondly, they will preview the launch of the AVDI Assist Plans - complete aftercare solution. This is a unique opportunity to see this great system live and ask questions.

"Advanced Diagnostics, a leading key programming provider, will be demonstrating new software for V W Audi vehicles as well as new applications for Fiat."
