Security solutions protect against card and currency fraud logical and physical attacks

Experts from Diebold showcased the company's high-performance security solutions at the ATM Security 2013 Conference on Oct. 22-23 in London. During the conference Diebold addressd the following automated teller machine (ATM) security threats: card and currency fraud, logical attacks and physical attacks.

In addition to educating attendees on industry best practices for securing the ATM channel, Diebold's Martin Koffijberg, ATM security expert, presented a case study about solid explosive ATM attacks. The presentation featured a leading financial institution in South Africa that has had success mitigating such attacks.

The ATM Security 2013 Conference is organized by ATMIA and was held at the Victoria Park Plaza Hotel in London. The conference gathers security industry experts from around to world to address key issues surrounding fraud and security in self-service banking.
