CornerStone of the Team

* Jon with Graham Taylor.JPGJon Roadnight, Director of CornerStone GRG, The International Security Consultancy firm based in London, managed to achieve one of his ambitions recently when he got to play for the football team he has supported for over 30 years.

Having won a charity auction he took his place in the Watford Legends team against Derby County Legends at Derby's fabulous Pride Park Stadium. The money raised was for a number of Cancer charities including The Bobby More Fund as well as a former 'Hornets' player, Nigel Callaghan, who has been fighting bowel cancer.

"It was a fantastic day that raised some money for some very good causes" said Jon. "I just couldn't resist the opportunity to play alongside some of my sporting heroes and contribute to such a good cause".

The Watford Team, managed by former England manager Graham Taylor fought out an exciting 2-2 draw and the day proved so successful there is talk of making it an annual event.
