Yale's New CCTV Systems Offer 24-hour Surveillance

* Yale-2cam-kit.jpgSecurity specialist Yale has launched a new CCTV range. Available in two, four or six camera packs, the wired Easy Fit 960H CCTV systems offer an easy to install 'plug and play' solution.

The weather resistant CCTV cameras can be used indoors or outdoors. They record in colour during the daylight and black and white at night, with built-in infrared LEDs providing night vision of up to 20 metres to ensure enhanced security at all times.

The Digital Video Recorder (DVR) and cameras can be linked up to a TV or monitor via HDMI, VGA or RCA connections. In addition, they can be linked to a router, enabling remote viewing from any location as long as the device is connected to the internet. Images can be viewed on smartphones or tablets using the Yale Viewing App, available from the Google or Apple store, or using a PC internet explorer web browser.

Image quality is high, with 650 TV Lines (TVL) providing clear vision, and the systems record in 960H high quality resolution onto a 500GB or 1TB hard drive. USB ports allow the transfer of recorded footage to a USB Flash Drive device, enabling users to store on a PC or pass on to relevant bodies if required.

With the use of an alarm/CCTV adapter, the CCTV range can control Yale's Easy Fit Alarm Kits 1, 2, 3 and 4 enabling users to arm or disarm the alarm system at the touch of a button.

David Herbert, Head of Marketing for Yale, comments: "As well as monitoring vulnerable areas, such as gardens, garages and sheds, Yale's innovative new CCTV system also has the ability to control and monitor the Easy Fit Alarm System using the CCTV's DVR menu and mobile application.

"By pairing the adaptor to the alarm and connecting into the Easy Fit DVR via the USB port the alarm can then be turned on or off from a remote location by using the Yale app. This gives users complete control, offering a comprehensive security solution for homes and businesses."
