The FREE Genuine Lishi App - an Auto Locksmith's best friend

Over the past few months, Genuine Lishi has rapidly expanded their product ranges, and took the market by storm with the introduction of the Genuine Lishi NightVision  3-in-1 tools, which are able to pick and decode car doors, trunks and even ignitions. What's more is that these tools use special NightVision technology which lights up the tool at night without the need for torches or other light sources!

However Genuine Lishi has now taken their development one step further with the introduction of the FREE Genuine Lishi app, which is available on both Apple and Android devices!

Ben Jennings, Marketing Manager at UAP Ltd, says "The Genuine Lishi app has been in production over the past few months. We wanted to give our customers the best and most current information we could, and we believe there is nothing like this app in the market at the moment in time!"

The Genuine Lishi app has primarily been designed to act as a reference point for auto locksmiths who are out on a job and come across a car they are unfamiliar with. The search facility is available once the user has logged into the app, by either creating an account or by using their existing login for the Genuine Lishi website. There is a powerful search engine built into the app which allows the locksmith to search for the correct Genuine Lishi tool to use either by the car make and model, or by the lock type. This will bring up a list of Genuine Lishi tools which will pick or decode that type of car. This information is constantly kept up to date and is automatically updated once a new tool is released or a new car model is announced.

Ben continues, "We didn't want to just have the app as a search function and just give you what tool opens what car. We have gone one step further and once you search for a tool and the list of Genuine Lishi tools which will open a certain car appears, you can then click into each tool. By doing this, you will be able to see a brief overview of the tool. You will also be able to see a table which gives all the key references needed for that car, including the Instacode IC card references! A list of all the makes and models of cars that tool opens will also be viewable. The app also allows you to search for the approved Genuine Lishi distributors in your country. Here you will be able to purchase Genuine Lishi tools from your local distributors and find details of the distributors name and address, contact numbers, websites and email addresses."

Kevin Pritchard, Tradelocks Manager at UAP, says "When you purchase either a Genuine Lishi 2-in-1 or the new 3-in-1 DTI tools, there is a serial number on the back of the tool. On the app, if you click on the 'Product Registration' tab, it will allow you to enter this serial number. Once the serial number is entered, the tool becomes bound to your account. This means that if you ever lose your tool, there is a chance that we will be able to trace the tool back to you and return it!"

"Another great advantage of registering your tools on the app is that you will have access to a series of tutorial videos and instruction manuals for each tool. To access these, all you need to do is simple click on the 'View Registered Products' button and click into your registered tool. A 'View Attachments' button will now be available, and will allow you to view the videos or PDFs within the app!"

Kevin continues, "Once the tool is bound to your account, it is downloaded and stored on your app. This means that you no longer need internet connection to view all the attachments on your registered tool. This is very handy if you go out on a job in a remote location and no longer have mobile phone signal. The search function on the app will also work when there is no phone signal, meaning that you can still search for what tool opens a certain car wherever you are!"
