Four current and former security screeners at Los Angeles international airport have been arrested and charged with drug-trafficking and bribery. The four accepted cash to allow large shipments of cocaine, methamphetamine and marijuana through X-ray machines, the US justice department said. Locksmith killed during legal eviction A locksmith hired to help in the process of evicting a California tenant was shot dead, along with the sheriff's deputy serving the eviction notice, police said last Friday. In addition to the two men shot dead, a lone body has been found inside the charred ruins of the Modesto, California, apartment building, Modesto police Officer Chris Adams told CNN. Rogue locksmith must pay £700,000 Rogue locksmith Mark Makowski has been ordered to pay £700,000 following a five-year investigation into his criminal operation in London.
A five-year joint investigation by Westminster trading standards and Scambusters began in 2007 following complaints from customers who had been "duped" when employing Pronto Locks to regain entry to their homes. Hackers have breached top secret MoD systems Computer hackers have managed to breach some of the top secret systems within the Ministry of Defence, the military's head of cyber-security has revealed. Major General Jonathan Shaw told the Guardian the number of successful attacks was hard to quantify but they had added urgency to efforts to beef up protection around the MoD's networks.
"The number of serious incidents is quite small, but it is there," he said. "And those are the ones we know about. The likelihood is there are problems in there we don't know about."
