ASSA ABLOY Door Group unveils two brand new high performance steel door ranges Door Group, a unit of ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions UK & Ireland, has launched two new high performance steel doorsets within its Powershield Security Doorset range. The new SR3 and SR4 steel door ranges, also known as Torr and Titan, have been developed from scratch to offer a product compatible with increased frame and ironmongery options, allowing greater freedom of design for architects and specifiers. iLOQ France signs a new partnership with SNEF iLOQ and SNEF Connect have signed a strategic partnership to combine their respective know-how in the access management sector. With a EUR 1.5 billion turnover and 12,000 employees, Groupe SNEF brings to the partnership its expertise in the world of security. As a French independent leader and recognized player in the sectors of energy, industrial processes, telecommunications and information technologies, it designs, develops and integrates multi-technical solutions tailored to customer needs. Hanwha Techwin expands Wisenet Q camera series The new additions to the Wisenet Q series include 2 and 5 megapixel bullet cameras, domes and vandal resistant domes, with system designers able to choose from models which are supplied with fixed or motorised varifocal lenses. All are true day/night (ICR) cameras and feature Lens Distortion Correction (LDC). They also benefit from enhanced Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) that performs at up to 120dB to produce clear images from scenes containing a challenging mix of bright and dark areas which normally results in overexposed or underexposed images. STA announces partnership with security firm SmartWater The Solar Trade Association has announced a partnership with security specialists SmartWater. Under the terms of the partnership, STA members are entitled to an exclusive discount of more than 25% off the installation of SmartWater’s unique asset marking technology, and more than 15% off the annual site licence fee.
