Ava Security launches cloud-based license plate recognition solution Ava Security, a unified service provider of cybersecurity and video security, has launched license plate recognition (LPR) solution as part of its Ava Aware cloud-based AI data platform. The new capabilities operate in the cloud and are able to work with a wide variety of third-party and Ava cameras. Most LPR solutions require two cameras in order to operate. Ava Security needs just one, while delivering enhanced situational awareness and insights with great accuracy. The solution is also compatible with license plates in all geographies. Abloy UK launches Mobile Keys for increased security, convenience and efficiency Abloy UK has launched ASSA ABLOY’s Incedo Business Mobile Keys, a new type of credential that offers secure mobile access, simplified management and user convenience and efficiency. Incedo Business provides a user-friendly interface for managing your access control platform. You have a choice of system management options — Lite or Cloud — to administer Incedo-enabled hardware in a way that best suits your business’ needs. SALTO introduces EAN Code Standard into product packaging SALTO Systems has introduced EAN13 standardised barcodes into its product packaging answering to partner and sales channel needs. The EAN code is a 13-digit bar code is internationally used to identify individual products. Sodexo appointed to Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime property services integrator framework Sodexo has been appointed as the single supplier on the Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC) new property services integrator framework which is accessible to all other UK public sector bodies, including the Offices of the Police and Crime Commissioners, the Greater London Authority and its functional bodies to buy a range of strategic property-related services.
