This Week's News
With much of the UK workforce now heading back into the office following the easing of Covid restrictions, there still remains a large amount of people choosing to work remotely or splitting their time between the office and home.
This work-life shift means that businesses need to continue to be vigilant and address the multiple vulnerabilities that still linger. This is according to Andrew Gogarty, Chief Security Evangelist, Secon.
The newly assembled team is comprised of experts from across the senior care, automotive and semiconductor sectors. The office will specialize in business development, system application and marketing.
Vayyar’s senior care solutions are deployed in facilities and private homes around the world, providing real-time activity monitoring that supports automatic fall detection and a wide range of behavioural insights, enabling person-centred care.
ERA, one of the UK’s leading home security and fenestration component providers, has partnered with Neighbourhood Watch, the UK’s largest crime prevention charity, as part of its annual burglary awareness campaign.
The initiative, which launches in March and focuses on the acronym WIDE(N), aims to educate home owners and renters on the importance of securing the windows, interior, doors and exterior of their property, in addition to the importance of active Neighbourhood Watch schemes, to deter burglary attempts.
