Abloy UK is highlighting the functionality of its SMARTair wireless access control solution that gives Facilities Managers full control to lock down access to areas of, or an entire building, quickly and safely in an emergency.
SMARTair offers intelligent access control — opening, locking or maintaining access to individual doors or zones to deal with an emergency. With a single command, doors equipped with SMARTair devices may be set to ‘Block Mode’ and can only be unlocked with a specific credential.
In mid-March, the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) released a report highlighting how cyber actors routinely exploit poor security configurations, weak controls, and other poor cyber hygiene practices to gain access and compromise user systems. These included not enforcing multifactor authentication, primarily with remote desktop access, the use of vendor-supplied default login usernames and passwords, and the failure to detect and block phishing attempts.
Hanwha Techwin Europe, a leading supplier of robust and reliable video surveillance products, today announces the release of two new AI-powered dual-channel multi-sensor cameras in Europe, the PNM-C12083RVD and PNM-C7083RVD.
The AI cameras are designed to monitor two different areas with two different fields of view, making them ideal for monitoring staircases or elevators, looking around corners, and securing two adjacent areas such as check-in desks.
