Sonis announces launch of sensor free alarm system

Dunfermline based company, Sonis Smart  Security Ltd, a leader in innovative wireless security systems has announced the launch date of its “NoEntry” security alarm. The palm-sized, wire and sensor-free alarm detects break-ins and activates before an intruder is even able to gain access to a property.

3xLOGIC: targeted solutions to reduce retail crime

3xLOGIC’s new Varifocal Multi-Imager Surround Dome Camera (VX-20M-SURROUND-RAW) is designed for applications requiring multiple angles of view that a standard camera cannot achieve. Innovative SMARTair wireless access control enables intelligent lockdown of premises remotely

SMARTair offers intelligent access control — opening, locking or maintaining access to individual doors or zones to deal with an emergency. With a single command, doors equipped with SMARTair devices may be set to ‘Block Mode’ and can only be unlocked with a specific credential.

Businesses cannot rely on surface-level fixes for their cybersecurity, says MyCena

In mid-March, the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) released a report highlighting how cyber actors routinely exploit poor security configurations, weak controls, and other poor cyber hygiene practices to gain access and compromise user systems. These included not enforcing multifactor authentication, primarily with remote desktop access, the use of vendor-supplied default login usernames and passwords, and the failure to detect and block phishing attempts.
