SECO-LARM Maglocks are now available in black. The 1,200-lb Electromagnetic Lock has an operating voltage of 12/24 VDC (selectable), MOV Surge protection, with no residual magnetism.

A detachable faceplate for easy access to wiring.

Housing is created from anodised aluminium with a black finish. Includes an adjustable mounting bracket, and complete mounting hardware for typical installations.

On January 23rd the Fire Safety (England) Regulation 2022 came into effect, putting greater emphasis on the importance of fire doors and fire safety instructions for multi-occupied high-rise buildings.

In addition this month, the UK Government has launched a consultation to force developers into putting a second staircase in all new housing blocks over 30 metre tall and sprinklers in all new care homes regardless of building height.

Launching this week (31st January), consultancies and contractors have until 16 March to apply to be part of the ASC1 (Asset Safety and Compliance) Framework, delivered by public sector construction framework provider LHC.
