IFSEC showcase for UK's 'most secure electrified perimeter' on Harper Chalice stand Harper Chalice's PulseSecure PROTECTOR HVLV perimeter security system recently judged to be the UK's most secure, will be on show at Ifsec, on Harper Chalice's stand E9 in Hall 3. In independent UK Government trials at the end of 2010 the PulseSecure Protector Enhanced fully monitored electrified power fencing system was confirmed as the most secure and stable technology of its kind on the market. Security specialist seals Kraft contract in India A Belfaast-based firm is to install security screening for all sites in India owned by global foods giant Kraft. The system produces permanent and temporary ID badges for staff and visitors to Kraft offices and manufacturing facilities and also provides a real-time response if an alarm goes off. Immix Cloud is an innovative new IP-based solution that allows security events to be remotely monitored from any location and makes user services available through mobile devices including iPhone, Android-based mobile phones and the latest tablet computers such as the Apple iPad. Samsung launch compact and robust vandal-resistant dome camera with built-in IR LEDs Samsung has introduced the SCV-2081R, a high performance, compact, vandal-resistant dome camera which has built-in IR LEDs enabling it to capture 600 TV lines resolution images at night, without the user incurring the cost of providing supplementary lighting. Suitable for a wide range of internal and external applications such as offices, retail stores, schools and hospitals, the IP66 rated SCV-2081R will work effectively in more demanding environments that are prone to severe or varying weather conditions as well as tampering or physical attack. Mandatory Stolen Vehicle Recovery systems in Brazil Legislation to tackle vehicle theft makes Brazil a standout market for the future says a new SBD report The Brazilian government has introduced legislation to tackle the very high levels of vehicle crime through a program called SIMRAV. SBD have produced a new report which provides an extensive overview of the progress made towards the mandatory fitment of SVR systems to all new vehicles in Brazil as a part of SIMRAV, and the capability to extend this to offer additional telematics services. High performance handheld thermal imaging and recording The new ruggedised, handheld IR518 thermal imaging and thermal video recording camera from Armstrong Optical opens opportunities to a wide range of imaging applications only previously available with much higher priced systems. The lightweight camera allows covert, passive observation to be undertaken on even the darkest of nights without the use of infrared illumination. By operating in the Long Wave Infra-Red (LWIR) region of the spectrum the camera can provide images of a target at any time of day and in all weather conditions - including through fog, mist dust and even has the ability to penetrate light foliage. Latest monitoring centre sign-up confirms IRIS as Europe's most widespread IP alarm system Chiron Security Communications' IRIS alarms-over-IP communications system has been further strengthened with confirmation that it is now being adopted by the Swiss alarm monitoring centre ADSI-FONTI. ADSI-FONTI is based in Geneva and specialises in the monitoring of high-end installations such as banks, governmental institutions and embassies. Winkelmann achieves Innovation award at CTSC Winkelmann was awarded the Special Jury's "Industry Design & Innovation" award at the 6th Annual Canadian Technical Security Conference (CTSC) for their RAPTOR RXi Ultra-fast scanning Countersurveillance Receiver. The RAPTOR RXi counter surveillance receiver stands out from the crowd due to its wide scanning frequency range of 10 kHz to 26 GHz, 20 MHz real-time bandwidth, wealth of functionalities and large (15") colour touch screen display. Lumidigm highlighted in Top 300 Startups Lumidigm has been chosen for inclusion in the 2011 edition of the fundedIDEAS publication Top 300 Startups. Lumidigm develops and deploys biometric fingerprint sensors that use multispectral imaging to capture superior images quickly, on all people, in all environmental conditions.
