AMG's new range of Industrial Ethernet Switches and Media Converters to be demonstrated at BEST 2015

* Andrew-Pigram_AMG.jpgAMG, the British manufacturer of CCTV transmission solutions and sophisticated 5 Megapixel cameras, will showcase their rapidly expanding range of Industrial Ethernet Switches and Media Converters at the British Exhibition of Security Technology. The conference will be held at the Royal Air Force Museum, in London, on 20th & 21st October.

Products on show will include the new MSES2 range of Industrial Ethernet Switches, an expansion on the original and successful MSES product line..

Also on display will be the new range of multi-port, semi managed Media Converter/Switches, which allow IP video to be transmitted over 120Km.

Andrew Pigram, Sales & Marketing Director of AMG Group, says, "Our new MSES2 range of Industrial Ethernet Switches represents a significant expansion of the current range, including 10, 20 and 30 port models, faster processing, POE+ and Gigabit across all Ethernet ports, as well as lower power consumption and wider temperature range support. All AMG's MSES switches provide a simple hybrid upgrade solution to full VMS platforms over an IP network infrastructure and are available with RS232, RS485, closed contact alarms and integrated analogue video encoders specifically designed for new IP video systems."

"We are also showcasing our new Media Converters and multi-port semi-managed Media Converter Switches, which can be used to extend IP networks beyond the standard 90m and also to connect multiple cameras directly without the need for expensive managed Ethernet switches. AMG's low-cost ruggedized semi-managed switches deliver many of the benefits of bandwidth management associated with a more expensive layer 2 switch but without the need for laptops, networking or programming experience. The ultra-compact design and wide- temperature range is specifically designed for CCTV applications where installation space is often confined, such as camera tower bases and cabinets, but high bandwidth and good management is essential to VMS and network performance."

The British Exhibition of Security Technology is organised by Tecton Ltd. Places are limited, so early booking is recommended to avoid disappointment. To see more about the programme, and to register, please click here.
