Hickleys add locksmith training to their Auto Locksmith training academy.
Hickleys are pleased to announce that they are expanding their training academy with new dedicated training rooms, training equipment and courses to meet the need of domestic and commercial locksmiths.
The Hickleys training academy is fortunate to have another exceptional trainer with impressive credentials joining us to run our domestic and commercial locksmith training and safe opening courses.
Jason Hillier is an extremely well known professional locksmith with years of experience, Jason is truly one of the guys that can just defy belief with his abilities in opening all types of locks including safes. Jason has been training and passing on his skills for many years as the leading trainer for a midlands based training school, 1st Call Lockouts, where he has trained hundreds of people the skills needed to prosper as a locksmith.
The love of all types of locks started at a young age for Jason when he was mystified by magicians and escapologists and practiced lock picking until he could master the illusions. This naturally lead him into locksmithing as a career where he found that he had a particular talent in defeating all types of high security locks and safes. Jason now specialises in nondestructive entry and has been teaching and passing on these skills for many years having qualified many years ago as an accredited NCFE trainer.
Robin Huish, Managing director of Hickleys said "the Hickleys training academy is the leading centre in the UK for Auto Locksmith training covering everything from one day product or vehicle specific courses to intense courses run over multiple days and we are excited that further expansion opportunities has now enabled us to offer a range of traditional locksmith training including lock picking, safe opening and other specialist courses, we are very pleased to have Jason teaching his skills at the Hickleys Training Academy."
Nicky Summers, Training coordinator for Hickleys commented "Locksmithing is a niche market with high levels of technical content and good rewards are possible when the correct skills are achieved. Our Locksmith training program offers top quality training to both the domestic and commercial locksmith industry including non destructive picking, safe opening and a range of more specialist skills.
We will be offering a 2 day intensive course, 5 and 8 day novice and 3 day advanced lock picking courses in addition to a new 5 day safe opening course. We will also be offering specialist course to meet the needs of the market, one of the new course we have designed called "Van added security" and links the skills needed from a traditional locksmith but is essential for the Auto Locksmith. When Auto Locksmiths come across vehicles with added security they have no knowledge of how to gain entry and therefore cannot complete the work, after completing this course they will be amongst a selected few that can defeat all types of locks.
The training school is currently being expanded and equipped with the latest equipment and all the course content and course notes are being written ensuring they are the most up to date and relevant on offer in the industry. All the new courses and information can be viewed on our website www.hickleystrainingacademy.com where you can also view the training calendar for 2016 and reserve your place".
Jason said "I just love training and seeing novice students leave with the skills they need to forge a new career or existing locksmiths master the more tricky locks on the advanced courses always gives me a buzz, I am also looking forward to helping new or existing locksmiths expand their skills into the Auto Locksmithing market and one of the other natural extensions to the locksmith trade is to expand into safe opening, no previous knowledge is required and you will learn to pick open most of the common safes used today".
The new training centre will be equipped and ready in a few weeks and the courses commence at the end on July. You can book courses straight away on our website or contact Nicky Summers on [email protected] or 01823 328604
