CISA eGO exceeds expectations for Allegion
Exceeding expectations at the Independent Hotel Show proves Allegion have a winning product and brand for the hospitality sector.
Known for producing world-leading electronic and electromechanical door hardware, Allegion's CISA brand was showcased as the fully integrated solution for hotels at the Independent Hotel Show. The expo was also the launch pad for the innovative CISA eGO electronic lock to the UK's hotel market.
Specified with the latest RFID technology (including Near Field Communication (NFC) technology), the lock has been specially designed so it can provide the quickest and most convenient access for guests to their rooms, while also reducing the cost of wear-and-tear maintenance and replacement for building owners.
Trevor Ball, area sales manager for hospitality at Allegion, comments, "The hospitality sector is one of our biggest markets and we are always developing our CISA range to firstly exceed expectations of guests and also to make the lives of hotel owners and facilities managers easier.
"Having had over 80 enquiries for our CISA range during the Independent Hotel Show and with particular interest in the new CISA eGO, we are proving that Allegion really do understand the market from both users and vendors. For the hotel sector, we are heavily investing and developing battery powered hardware so that there are fewer labour installation and maintenance costs associated with hard wiring, and also so there is less overall disruption to hotel operation and activity."
Known for producing the world's first electronically controlled lock, CISA now develops and markets cylinders and locks for any kind of door, including electronic locks, panic bars, door closers, safes and padlocks.
The CISA eGO features an emergency mechanical override detection system and is fully compliant to safety and security legislation. It is compatible with fire-rated doors up to 60 minutes.
