Just a note to say what a great show last weekend's Lockexpo was. The show 'was brilliant' and those are not my words. Although numbers on 2017 were slightly down at 1,000, the quality of the attendees was excellent.
Many exhibitors reported that time waster levels were nil, and enquiries and intelligent questions extremely high. BUT it is not about numbers, we could easily expand the boundaries of the count and say 2,000 but what would the point be?
Lockexpo never ever clicks people in let alone out, we issue passes to the registered visitors and if they are accompanied by staff, family, or friends they are issued with 'Guest passes' these are not counted as visitors as they are presumed to have no purchasing power. Once issued with their pass, a visitor can come and go over the two days without being recounted. In a similar way 'Exhibitor' badges and exhibitor movements are not counted, so no overblown visitor numbers here.
As always, we do have a policy of 'The answer is yes, now how can I help?' No BS just great service.
DATES 2018: March 3rd and 4th. If you want to exhibit I am happy to put you on the list and offer you a space when it is clear who is firming up on the verbal acceptances we already have. So best be prompt if you want to make sure of a stand next year.
If you want to attend - we will re-open our visitor registration later in the year.
If you did attend this year, I am grateful, the show is for you, to educate and inform - best annual show in Europe. Tell your friends, share your pictures on social media.
I thank 3D Group for their sponsorship support - If you would like to sponsor 2018 please contact me.
I want to also say that the first Golden Pineapple award was to Kinder Evans - unless you are a member of the Professional Locksmiths Forum you will not know what that means...
