Is regulation the key to stopping van thefts?

Traders have welcomed a move to get the locksmith industry regulated after a spate of thefts from vans in Bedfordshire. Tibbe Key tools, which allow people to unlock Ford Transit vans, are readily available online, with sites including Amazon advertising them for sale. Now the Masters Locksmiths Association (MLA) is working with the government and police to stop people claiming they are locksmiths to buy the tools.
