BEST Access Solutions introduces Keystone Web, the latest digital key management program
BEST Access Solutions, part of the dormakaba Group portfolio of mechanical and electronic access control solutions, has released Keystone Web, the company's latest key management program.
Keystone Web is the upgraded digital security program of Keystone 600N5 for current BEST customers, designed to simplify and coordinate storage of an organization's keys, keyholders and door and building access information, allowing for easy management of multiple keys, doors and users from a single intuitive user interface.
Despite today's modernized schools, workplaces and government facilities, most still lack a primary digital control center for key management operations and lost keys still account for many issues regarding safety of employees and security breaches. In addition to the ability to track keys, Keystone Web stores a comprehensive record of all cores, doors and buildings associated with each key, providing security managers with the ability to identify areas affected by a lost key and implement necessary measures to protect the facility from unauthorized access.
Keystone Web is designed to limit security threats quickly and efficiently for facilities with more than 100 openings, by storing a complete list of doors, including numbers, buildings, door types and component history. Today's digital era demands a streamlined and simple way to track keys, assign access levels and document keyholder and door information while identifying phantom keys and creating or updating coremarks and keymarks. BEST's innovative Keystone Web is designed to provide greater flexibility allowing the program to be accessed from anywhere the user is connected to the network.
"Keystone Web makes a security manager's job easier, while providing stronger building access protection," said Jason Ferguson, Masterkey Systems Manager for BEST Access Solutions. "It provides a reassurance that will ease the minds of employees knowing their organization has the most up-to-date key management program."
