Last chance to book for industry's premier awards ceremony

* BSIA-Awards.jpgWith limited places available, the British Security Industry Association (BSIA) is advising people to avoid disappointment and book their places now for their upcoming Annual Lunch.

This year's event boasts a brand new, glamorous venue, taking place at the Grand Connaught Rooms near Covent Garden on Wednesday 12th July 2017 also marks the Association's 50th anniversary, with the lunch promising to be an exciting celebration of the achievements of the industry's leading trade Association over the past five decades.

The lunch also serves to recognise the talent, bravery and contributions made by security professionals to the industry each and every day. This is conveyed through the presentation of the BSIA's prestigious annual Security Personnel, Apprentice Installer, Chairman's and CVIT Special Awards. This year is especially exciting, as the BSIA has also launched its brand new Security Business Awards, which will also be presented at the lunch.

The new awards are presented in three categories: The International Partnership Award, The Environmental Award and The Innovative Security Project of the Year Award. Their introduction to the awards programme serves to recognise companies as a whole, highlighting their commitment and successes in enhancing the reputation of the UK's security industry both within the UK and across the globe.

As well as the esteemed awards ceremony, the lunch will also feature a keynote speech from renowned publisher, writer and broadcaster, Andrew Neil. Currently presenting three editions of the Daily Politics on BBC2 every week, as well as the Sunday Politics on BBC1 and the award-winning This Week on BBC1 every Thursday night, Andrew is a well-known broadcaster, making his speech one not to be missed.

"The relocation to an impressive new venue, coupled with the introduction of new awards and an exciting keynote speaker creates the perfect backdrop in which to reflect on the past 50 years," comments James Kelly, Chief Executive of the BSIA. "Each year, the Luncheon provides the opportunity for stakeholders and colleagues across the industry to come together and network in a five star setting. This year promises to be more spectacular than ever and I encourage industry practitioners to join us in our celebrations."

There are limited tickets still available, with BSIA members benefiting from a discounted rate of £135 + VAT. This year, to bring the whole industry together, bookings for the event are also open to non-members of the Association, at a standard rate cost of £150 + VAT.
