We have Mail
Hi John.
I thought I would let you know about a climb that I am doing in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care. We have so far managed to raise just over £3500, with a lot of donations and sponsors coming from the locksmith community. This has been through sales of locks and tools between locksmiths, with the proceeds going to the fund.
We have also raised money through our monthly locksmith meetings that we hold each month at our training workshops. The meetings are for locksmiths to meet and exchange ideas and techniques, normally with some useful demos thrown in.
I will be doing a trek, climb and crawl to the top of Mt Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, Africa's tallest free-standing mountain. The trek leaves London on the 8th June and we return on the 19th.
Chris Kamara, and a couple of other football pundits are also coming along with us, and the whole expo is being filmed by Sky Sports which will be aired later this year.
Anyone interested in making a contribution, please contact me.
All the best and thanks for a great read with the magazine.
Jay
