SSAIB name long-serving Joanne Ellis as new sales executive

* Joanne-Ellis_SSAIB.jpgLong-serving SSAIB employee Joanne Ellis has moved from manned guarding administrator to become the leading security and fire certification body's new sales executive.

Joanne has been with SSAIB for over ten years - during two spells with the organisation - having started as an office apprentice straight out of school.

After achieving both her Business Admin Level Two and Level Three qualifications during her first four years at SSAIB, Joanne then returned as manned guarding administrator some six years later.

Following a further six years working within manned services, Joanne decided to apply for the vacant sales executive job - as she revealed that it brings a new set of challenges compared to her previous roles, but she can't wait to get started.

Joanne commented: "This new role will be a challenge, but it'll be a good challenge for me and it is definitely one that I'm looking forward to.

"Working in the sales team will also allow me to get out of the office more and meet people, so it will be nice to go along to exhibitions and regional meetings and put faces to names that I've only spoken to over the phone or via email."
