New DoorJammer range - fast deployed extra door security for the home and heavy-duty Lockdown for public/commercial buildings

* DoorJammer.jpgOriginally designed to stop unwanted intrusions into hotel rooms with suspect door locks, the new DoorJammer is stronger, more compact and lighter. DoorJammer slots under most inward opening doors and keeps them shut when you really need them to.

Its mechanism means that the greater the effort to push and force entry from the outside - the more the DoorJammer stubbornly stays in place, keeping the occupant safe and secure.

Whilst the new small-sized DoorJammer offers additional security in homes, student halls or digs, the new double sized "DoorJammer Lockdown" version is designed to give ultimate protection to people in public and commercial buildings.

DoorJammer Lockdown is easily deployed to deal with threatening situations in various establishments such as offices, shopping centres, hospitals, schools, colleges and universities.

The device provides extra robust security for inward opening doors, irrespective of whether they have locks fitted or not. DoorJammer Lockdown's one-piece design means it can be easily fitted in seconds and avoids having to waste valuable time hunting for keys, padlocks etc. It is light in weight (822gms) and easy to fit - the flange goes under the gap of the door (minimum gap 3mm) and just twist the bolt to secure.

DoorJammer Lockdown helps organisations follow current Police and National Counter Terrorism (NaCTSO) advice and communicate to their employees and customers to RUN, HIDE, TELL - and when hiding to create a safe place by barricading themselves in.

* DoorJammer2.jpgThe DoorJammer range is primarily made of steel. Both types of DoorJammer are UK Police accredited (Secured by Design), tested by Winkhaus Laboratories to the relevant criteria of PAS24: 2016 enhanced security requirements. This includes direct impact test of up to 50Kg of force at the device's maximum extension.

The new DoorJammer range was the overall winner at this month's British Invention of the Year Awards 2018.
