GWS develop e-learning for Chubb

GWS Production AB (GWS) in Lund have signed an agreement with the insurance giant Chubb INA Holdings Inc for a Travel Risk e-learning solution designed for users of the Chubb Travel Smart app and security portal, developed by GWS.

The e-learning solution will be integrated within the Chubb Travel Smart mobile app and consists of twelve travel risk focused modules.

In 2017, GWS and Chubb, the world's largest public listed property and non-life insurance company, signed a global cooperation agreement. The contract involved the development and launch of Chubb's next-generation travel safety solution specifically for corporate customers, provided by GWS.

The eLearning solution will be interactive, utilizing video and gamification features for maximum impact. Users travelling to high-risk locations will be reminded to complete the course before their trip. HR, Employee Benefits Managers or Risk Managers who are responsible to fulfill the Duty of Care for their travelling employees will be able to monitor which employees have completed the twelve different e-learning modules.

According to research by the Global Business Travel Association in cooperation with WWStay presented in Forbes, awareness of the risks faced by female travelers has never been higher, but only 18% of corporate travel policies specifically address matters relating to the safety needs of female business travelers. This is something that the new e-learning solution will address.

The e-learning solution is designed to be flexible enough to add additional modules when a specific threat or new travel risk arises. The e-learning will be available in English, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian and French.

"We are very excited about Chubb Travel Smart eLearning solution that will provide our clients with the knowledge and skills to improve situational awareness, proactively identify threats to avoid danger and stay safe while travelling," says Natasha Reoutt, Vice President, Accident & Health Multinational Business at Chubb. "This eLearning will help our clients to demonstrate their commitment toward their Duty of Care and manage their financial and reputational risks by preparing their employees for international travel."

"With this new e-learning solution we are raising the bar on user friendliness for travel security solutions. By integrating the e-learning solution into the travellers App, automated reporting tools and gamification we will create a new level of interaction that increases the security awareness for the travelers," says Andreas Rodman, CEO of GWS.
