Sargent and Greenleaf launches NexusIP safe lock

* NexusIP.jpgSargent and Greenleaf (S&G), a manufacturer of high-quality mechanical and electronic locks, announces its newest centrally controlled, Internet Protocol (IP) safe lock: NexusIP.

As an IP security system and part of S&G's Digital Platform, NexusIP is a fully scalable solution that allows for real-time, remote monitoring and control of one lock or multi-lock location network for a more reliable IP safe lock.

Utilizing Wi-Fi networks that are already in place, NexusIP requires no additional components or drilling. The lock uses existing safe power connections, or its own external power source, to deliver consistent extended power with reduced interruption. With the ability to assign up to four opening windows - per day, per schedule for up to 100 users through remote access control - NexusIP can be customised to fit a specific application to meet the ever-evolving needs of today's retailers, restaurants, building societies and credit unions.

"NexusIP combines easier installation and time lock management with dependable, ongoing operation without frequent service or downtime," stated Keith Deaton, COO of Sargent and Greenleaf. "Combining IP's ease of management and our Digital Platform, users are given a smarter, faster and more secure way to respond to their safe security needs without having to travel to the lock," said Deaton.

S&G's NexusIP's main features include:

* Ability to change access, set schedules and receive real-time alerts through remote monitoring
* Leverages existing Wi-Fi for reduced downtime and interruption
* No drilling required for an easy installation or retrofit

The NexusIP is available in four (4) bolt types: Model 3006-502 PIVOTBOLT, Model 3007-502 DIRECT DRIVE, Model 3028-502 DEAD LATCHING and Model 3029-502 PUSH/PULL. For more information, visit www.sargentandgreenleaf.com or call (859) 885-9411.
