Gira System 106
Gira, one of the world's leading full-range suppliers of intelligent system solutions for building management, launches the Gira System 106: a door communication system with user-friendly intercom.
A dynamic statement piece for the home, the Gira System 106 is a highly flexible modular door station with intercom function, which can be enhanced with a range of optional Gira modules which include Door Station, Intercom, Call-button, Camera and Display Modules.
Protected by a 3 mm-thick design front plate, the Gira System 106 will fit any style of architecture, interior and/or brief and is available in Brushed Stainless Steel, Anodised Aluminium and White Lacquered Metal Alloy. Simply mounted on the wall, this new system is equally befitting new builds and retrofits.
All 106.5mm modules can be selected and positioned as desired, whether arranged vertically, horizontally or square formation.
The modular construction of the Gira System 106 makes it possible to install only the housing unit first, and this can be done at the early stage of a build. Lines, modules and front plates can all be added as late as the point of completion for greater ease and user management.
System 106 is also incredibly versatile to configure, allowing simple modification or expansion to both design and system technology, at any point: anything is possible, from single or multi-family homes to large residential buildings. Providing modern convenience, security and a touch of elegance to your door, the Gira System 106 is compatible with all Gira home stations and door communication solutions.
Aesthetically, the design and glass fronts conceal the high-quality intercom system but are also designed with background noise suppression for maximum comfort. The built-in camera features backlight compensation, the call button has a brightness sensor for practical illumination and the Gira System 106 can also incorporate a built-in heating unit which will serve to protect the system.
