Hickleys acquire M B Locks
Hickleys have announced the acquisition of the market leading Auto Locksmith training company M B Locks.
Mike Byham of M B Locks is said to have been the first to offer training to the Auto Locksmith industry and has built up a reputation as the leading trainer in the market. Mike has been known as the "trainer that trained the trainers" as he has trained most people offering training in the auto market. Recently, Mike has passed the reins over to Andy Marshall Brown to deliver Mike's training courses and this has been a great success.
Andy is a practising Auto Locksmith and is particularly skilled in the latest tools and equipment being developed for the market. Combining Mike's years of knowledge and teachings with Andy's training style and knowledge of new products has both continued Mike's high standards whilst modernising the training to be relevant to today's Auto Locksmith requirements.
Being able to offer quality Auto Locksmith training completes the product portfolio offered by Hickleys and ideally compliments the market leading diagnostic tools, vehicle opening tools, key cutting equipment and vehicles keys.
Robin Huish, technical director of Hickley's says: "We are very pleased with the acquisition and are proud to be able to continue the great training services of M B Locks. We have invested heavily in creating a state of the art training centre at our head office in Taunton where our training will be delivered, this will include the M B Locks 5 day beginners courses, refresher and specialist courses, together with our product specific user courses for key programmers and key cloners, plus single day update courses on Vehicle opening, eeprom programming and key programming.
"Andy is an excellent trainer and we are very pleased to be working with him to build and develop our training services both to existing Auto Locksmiths and new customer looking to enter the market. We have set new dates for the various courses on offer which can be viewed on our website and are overjoyed at the uptake with many courses filling up immediately."
