Abloy introduces new access management solution for professional end-users - ABLOY OS INCEDO
ABLOY OS INCEDO is designed to provide enhanced digital security and access management as well as situational awareness for professionals, all in one cloud-based application.
Abloy Oy today unveiled its latest solution for physical access management, ABLOY OS INCEDO. It helps solve common challenges faced by security and facility managers when it comes to costly and time-consuming access management.
The solution has been developed for use in professional end-user operations, including banking, ICT, health care, vending machines, museums, defence, government, postal services, casinos and manufacturing of critical assets.
"The move into using digitally operated access control systems is evident. In the recent Wireless Access Control Report 2021 from ASSA ABLOY, only 23% of end-users reported that they do not operate an electronic system. That is one clear reason why we wanted to introduce new access management options specifically for our customers," said Jussi Ahvalo, Vice President, International Sales, Abloy Oy.
The combination of mechanical and electronic locking in one solution
ABLOY OS INCEDO connects the management of all mechanical, electromechanical and digital ABLOY solutions into one cloud-based application. By providing tracking and intelligent key management for many different types of keys-including mechanical-customers can prevent unauthorised key access, improve operational efficiency and reduce running costs.
The range of solutions that can be connected to ABLOY OS INCEDO includes, for example, PROTEC2 CLIQ key-based digital cylinders, a variety of digital access devices and a wide selection of mechanical key management features. ABLOY OS INCEDO forms the latest addition to the ABLOY Security & Access Solutions portfolio.
A visual map-based interface offers situational awareness anytime and anywhere
Featuring a user-friendly, highly visual map-based interface, organisations can have all the security details that covers their operation in one application. Core features also include role-based permissions, area-based access management and detailed audit trails of every lock and key. With extended, in-depth reports, customers have transparency and clear control of their users, access rights management and security.
Maps, dynamic icons and building plans can be uploaded and customised according to customers' individual needs. This allows more visibility and situational awareness in day-to-day security management.
ABLOY OS INCEDO is licensed and delivered to customers on a SaaS (Software as a service) basis. The system will be set up, hosted and continuously updated by the global ABLOY service and support teams. The new solution is available in selected markets from regional ABLOY sales units starting today.
