Sonis technology eliminates need for PIRs and Door Sensors in House Alarms
Dunfermline-based company, Sonis Smart Security Ltd, a pioneer in wireless security systems, has announced it will be using innovative sound signature technology in its soon to be released NoEntry house alarm.
It is claimed the new system is the first significant breakthrough in sensor technology since PIRs and door/window sensors were introduced over 50 years ago – and eliminates the need for both.
When set up and armed, the NoEntry alarm monitors the environment for specific sound signatures matched against its extensive database and if it detects an intruder, it will alert the owners within 300 milliseconds, long before the intruder even enters the house. In the event of a unique door or window, Sonis has engineered Adaptive Capture Mode which is effectively a simple training mode that the user engages once and then stores forever.
With no need for PIRs, window or door sensors and a 24-hour battery backup, the alarm can be set up to protect homes, conservatories and integral garages within five minutes.
CEO and founder Bill Marr said, “We aim to revolutionise the home security market with our new technology that replaces all PIRs and sensors, requires no specialist set up, no engineers and absolutely no fuss. You simply plug it in and it’s ready.”
The alarm will soon be ready for pre-orders from noentrysystem.com with early buyers receiving a £40 discount on the regular price.
