Integrated Solutions extend Codelocks’ quality to bespoke solutions

* Joanne_Codelocks.jpgCodelocks’ newly appointed Sales Director, Joanne Milne-Rowe, announces that access control provider Codelocks is now extending its expertise to businesses who want to integrate the Codelocks NetCode® Technology into their solutions.

This new initiative sees Codelocks experts working with businesses that need to provide timed access to buildings, lockers and storage facilities, to integrate the algorithm-based access control locks within their product offering.

With over twenty-five years Architectural Ironmongery experience and a previous chair of the Institute of Architectural Ironmongers (IAI), Joanne has been promoted to Sales Director after six years at Codelocks, she said, “For a long time Codelocks was seen as stand-alone access control locks but as the company has evolved we have had customers ask us to help them solve the challenge of allowing people to access their particular product in a seamless, easy to maintain way. We’ve applied our extensive knowledge of access control mechanics to meet these challenges in a creative way to provide Codelocks Integrated Solutions.

Products that have already integrated Codelocks into their solution range from storage lockers to thermally insulated food delivery drop off points, bookable sports facilities and package delivery lock boxes for householders, among others.

As Joanne Milne-Rowe explained, “By using Codelocks to take care of the access control aspect of their solutions, our customers can focus on their core business and not worry about whether the right person is accessing their product. It may just be one part of their overall product offer, but it’s a crucial one. Reputations are built on making sure customers get the best experience possible. Our clients don’t want a disappointed customer finding out that someone else is using their court or has made off with their delivery or takeout.”

The companies integrating Codelocks into their solutions benefit from Codelocks’ innovative NetCode® technology which uses an algorithm to generate a time sensitive code for a set period ranging between an hour to a year, with single or multiple uses. The proprietary technology allows the solution provider to manage access via an app or online portal. No WiFi connectivity is needed to operate the battery-powered, standalone locks, so customers can access facilities wherever they are. This is especially useful for remote areas where WiFi or mobile coverage is sparse.

For businesses that need to provide controlled access to facilities from lockers in sports centres, drop-off boxes, bike storage and healthcare cabinets to entire buildings, Codelocks’ technicians and experts work hand in hand with client product teams to find the right integrated access control solution.
