Fingerprint entry added to Ultion Smart Lock

* Ultion-biometric.jpgBritish security specialist, Ultion, has added biometric entry to its Ultion Nuki smart lock, meaning people can securely access their property with their fingerprint. The Wireless Fingerprint Keypad joins voice, app, smartwatch, keyfob and traditional door key access options making Ultion Nuki claimed as the most comprehensive and versatile Euro cylinder smart lock on the market.

The keypad uses Bluetooth to connect to Ultion Nuki, so no wiring is required, and although sleek enough to fit on a door frame, it can be placed anywhere within a 10-metre range if you wish to keep it out of sight.

The device stores up to 20 fingerprints – perfect for shared households, families, and small businesses – and along with Ultion Nuki is compatible with all major smart home platforms as well as the Airbnb app for holiday rentals.

Ultion also offers a no quibble £2,000 guarantee if your home is burgled by snapping the lock to gain entry – something the company has never had to pay out.

The Wireless Fingerprint Keypad can be purchased as part of a package with the Ultion Nuki smart lock from £390 or as a separate additional accessory priced at £145.

Also available is the Red Dot Design award-winning Ultion KeyTag door key, which can be located using Apple’s Find My platform meaning you will never lose it again. Over 13,000 keys are lost on the Transport for London network alone every year.
