MSAB new tools and features allow investigators to enhance digital forensic capabilities
MSAB, a world leader in mobile forensics, is proud to announce its first major release of the year, packed with powerful new features and significant updates designed to enhance digital investigations for law enforcement and government agencies worldwide.
“Our mission is – and has always been – to put the most comprehensive, accurate, and reliable digital forensic solutions in the hands of digital forensic practitioners. We have worked tirelessly to advance our customers’ digital forensic performance, and this release is a testament to our commitment to make the world safer”, says Mikael Falkovén, Interim CEO at MSAB.
The latest release of MSAB’s flagship product, XRY, comes with the launch of XRY Pro, the most advanced solution for locked and encrypted devices yet. This new tool has cutting-edge level access capabilities, allowing forensic investigators to get into some of the most challenging and secure devices. XRY's extraction and decoding capabilities now include over 44.200 devices and 4360 app versions.
Additionally, the new release includes an improved version of the companies´ forensic analysis tool, XAMN. With case review tracking, Detego integration, and upgraded reporting capacities, XAMN is now an even more powerful solution to discover, analyze and share critical digital evidence faster and with unparalleled ease of use. Other notable improvements were brought to XEC, MSAB’s management tool, allowing customers to follow up and report their operations more productively and efficiently.
"We are thrilled to introduce new features and updates. These significant advances in our technology will enable forensic professionals to unlock even more data from mobile devices and it will help them uncover critical evidence that might otherwise have gone undetected. Ultimately, it means more crimes solved”, says Mikael Falkovén.
“Our goal with XRY Pro, as well as with the upgrades to our entire product suite, is to make it easier for digital forensics examiners to extract and analyze data from mobile phones. We realize that the success of their investigations often relies on getting access to some challenging devices. Using MSAB state-of-the art security exploits, those phones are not unbreachable anymore”, says Bradley Sipes, Chief Product Officer at MSAB.
MSAB products are constantly evolving and improving, yet their goal remains unwaveringly the same: to provide support to law enforcement agencies, digital investigators, and forensic practitioners in their efforts to investigate criminal activity, gather intelligence, fight corruption, uncover fraud and reduce injustice.
“We’ve listened carefully to user feedback and incorporated it into every aspect of this new release to ensure we deliver products that truly meet the needs of our industry. We're excited to share these latest upgrades with our customers as they will improve workflows and empower professionals to extract, decode, and analyze more evidence”, says Bradley Sipes.
