ERA extends commitment to third party testing and certification

ERA, one of the UK’s leading home security and fenestration component providers, has achieved CERTIFIRE accreditation for its Fortress and Viscount Mortice Locks, further extending its commitment to third party testing and certification. 

The certification demonstrates ERA’s Fortress and Viscount Mortice Locks compatibility with 30-minute and 60-minute timber based doorsets, as defined in BS EN 1634-1 or BS 476: Part 22: 1987 and ERA’s commitment to providing installers and fabricators with compliant solutions that meet latest legislative standards. 

Supplied with comprehensive test evidence and documentation, installers can be confident that ERA’s Fortress and Viscount Mortice Locks and Latches have been tested and accredited by reputable third-party certification body Warrington Fire.  

In addition to having CERTIFIRE, CE and UKAS accreditations, ERA’s Fortress Mortice Locks conform to BS 3621:2017, meeting the exacting demands of insurance companies and the police, emphasising the range’s security and performance quality.
