Olympic Games presents ideal target for cyber criminals

French Foreign Affairs minister Stephane Sejourne warns one of the main concerns ahead of the Olympic Games held this summer in Paris is a potential cyberattack on the country's electricity grid.

France’s National Cybersecurity Agency (ANSSI) observed a significant rise in cyber espionage campaigns targeting strategic organizations in 2023. This continues to be France’s top threat ahead of the 2024 Paris Olympics.
