Newly upgraded C8C 5MP outdoor pan & tilt wi-fi camera

* Ezviz-upgraded2.jpgEZVIZ has introduced the C8C 5MP Outdoor Pan & Tilt Wi-Fi Camera. Upgraded from the popular C8C 2MP, the 5MP boasts a sleeker appearance to seamlessly blend with any home exterior and stunning 3K resolution for an unparalleled viewing experience.

Boasting more powerful features including 360° panoramic coverage, AI-powered human/vehicle shape detection, auto-zoom tracking, colour night vision, and event-triggered active defence, the C8C 5MP is truly an all-in-one camera that records, detects, and deters.

Compact, at only 4.03 × 5.06 × 5.79 inches, attractive and durable, the upgraded C8C 5MP features 350° horizontal and 80° vertical rotation ensuring it easily takes in views across large outdoor spaces, using the pan and tilt feature to overcome any blind spots. Furthermore, the camera comes equipped with two-way-talk whereby users can simply use the EZVIZ App to see, hear and talk to anyone who arrives at the property. This smart camera ensures no visitors are ever missed as the C8C 5MP will send a mobile notification and rotate to keep the person in the camera’s view.

When at work, on holiday or a daily dog walk, homeowners can be reassured that the home is still fully protected. Using on-board AI algorithm helps the C8C 5MP identify moving people and vehicles rather than falling leaves or flying insects to reduce any unnecessary alerts. It also now has the capability to identify license plates in case someone unknown parks in a drive or blocks the entrance to a property.

Users can easily manoeuvre the C8C using the EZVIZ App to get the full picture but can now also create a customisable detection zone to cover the most important areas. When human motion is detected, the C8C 5MP will automatically rotate to track the movement and zoom in to record the activity ensuring no one will be missed and a clear in-depth image can be viewed at all times. Users can now pinpoint up to 12 pre-set angles such as the garden, a front door or garage and by clicking on the pre-set dots in the App, the camera will automatically resume to its main detection zone. The C8C 5MP also features high performance dual antennas for enhanced Wi-Fi connection, delivering 220m Wi-fi coverage. Users can choose whether to hardwire the camera or use it wirelessly for further convenience. Of course, as a necessity, the C8C 5MP is weather-proof and durable enough to deliver long standing performance, even in the toughest of weather conditions.

Featuring full-colour night vision up to 20 metres and black-and-white night vision up to 30 metres, the C8C 5MP renders vivid imagery even in low light conditions to make sure no one easily sneaks in under the cover of darkness. For further enhanced protection, upon detection, the camera will set off a loud siren and flash spotlights to deter even the most persistent intruder.

Like all other EZVIZ products, the C8C 5MP boasts easy control, live viewing, and video playback using the free EZVIZ App. All videos are recorded in 3K high-definition and efficiently compressed with the H.265 standard. Users can either choose to store footage on a separately purchased large local storage card (SD 512G), which tackles the issue of rising subscription costs, or subscribe to EZVIZ's CloudPlay for an added level of security.

The C8C is also compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, important for those wanting a fully connected smart home eco-system. Users can operate EZVIZ cameras by simply speaking to the third-party voice assistants, which could include turning off motion detection when they arrive home or displaying the video feed on a smart home display.
