Hickleys Simply Keys 2024 – A weekend of savings, sales, schooling and smiles

* Simply1.jpgWhat a great weekend we had at Simply Keys! This year we saw a nice increase in interest in the show with a record number of people registering to come along. The staff at the GTG Centre in Wolverhampton were extremely accommodating as our hosts (as always!) and helped to make the show run as smoothly as it possibly could have.

2024 saw one of our biggest ever prize draws at Hickleys Simply Keys show and 4 lucky winners picked themselves up new games’ consoles.

Pictured below are Tylar Bless - Bless Locksmiths  – Winner of a Nintendo Switch, Serg - Car Keys Kix  – Winner of a PlayStation 5 and Thomas Murphy - Motortech Tom  – Winner of the second Nintendo Switch. Sadly, no one managed to crack our vault and drive away in the new Transit Custom that took pride of place in the centre of the show, but a great amount of fun was had in trying to find that code!

We are hugely grateful to the suppliers who attended the show this year, there was a constant buzz around the demo area and product stands throughout the weekend. IEA kindly flew one of their top techs over from Turkey for the weekend, who was on hand to give some great demos of new programming capabilities as well as give out a lot of great general advice in using the ZedFULL plus unit. Silca and Advanced Diagnostics had a whole team attend the show, demoing all things Smart Pro.

* Simply3.jpgOn the Diagnostics side of the show, new attendees KAP seemed to be having great fun talking with customers, and they were joined by Delphi Technologies and Core Diagnostics showing their respective products and services. The two-day line up was rounded out by GYS, who were giving advice on battery support units vital for key programming jobs on many vehicles, as well as demos of their Powerduction product. On Saturday we were joined by the lovely team from Northwest keys who brought along a huge range of picking tools. Attendees seemed to be having great fun trying to speed pick the lock training unit on NW Keys stand.

On the Hickleys side of the show, more bargains than ever were snapped up. This included savings both on everyday Auto Locksmith products and services as well as a few ‘back of the cupboard’ clearance items that made their way to the selling area.

* Simply4.jpgThe show also saw a great opportunity for us to gather first hand feedback from Locksmiths on our Locked In loyalty scheme and the continual strides we are making to improve and streamline the key buys process on our website.

Thank you so much to everyone that attended the show, and if you did not make it this year hopefully you are now convinced to make the journey to the midlands in 2025, when we will no doubt do it all again!
