Cyber security skills in the UK labour market 2024

This is a summary of research into the UK cyber security labour market, carried out on behalf of the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT). The research explores the nature and extent of cyber security skills gaps (people lacking appropriate skills) and skills shortages (a lack of people available to work in cyber security job roles).

This is the sixth iteration of the research, which has been carried out on an annual basis since 2019. This report on the cyber security labour market is consistent with the key learnings from previous years.
