* Yale-Linus2.jpgYale, a leading provider of smart home security solutions, has just announced the launch of the Linus Smart Lock L2. Designed to increase convenience whilst not reducing security, the new Smart Lock combines cutting-edge design, functionality and innovation in one product.

The Linus L2 has been designed with the modern-day homeowner in mind, offering a world-class lock experience. Faster and stronger than the previous generation, the Linus L2 has the addition of an Activity Feed, Smart Alerts and notifications through the popular Yale Home app, allowing homeowners to conveniently keep track of their door activity at any time.

Convenience is still a prime focus for homeowners looking to invest in smart locks, and the Linus L2 provides a range of handy features that make consumer’s daily lives just that little bit easier.

From sharing virtual keys or codes with trusted individuals, to the handy Auto-Lock and Auto-Unlock features which allow homeowners to automatically lock and unlock their doors as they approach using geofencing technology, the Linus L2 provides users with a more convenient experience surrounding their door security.

The Linus L2 also boasts a range of new features that help to boost the convenience of a smart lock even further. With connectivity via the Yale Home app, homeowners can now easily schedule their device to lock or unlock at certain times of the day. This allows the homeowner to create a personalised home security schedule tailored to their family life, ensuring they can easily come and go during the day, but still have heightened security overnight.

Homeowners can also add accessories, such as the Yale Smart Keypad or the new Yale Dot to enjoy a smarter, more secure experience when it comes to locking and unlocking their home.

Working seamlessly with the Linus L2, users can tap the Yale Dot with their phone to unlock or lock the door – without needing to open the Yale Home app. This convenient feature means users can quickly and easily unlock their door in a way that suits them. For example, users can leave a Yale Dot on their car dashboard to unlock their door quickly if it is raining – a very handy feature for busy families.

The new Linus Smart Lock L2 also benefits from:

Whilst voice assistant integration will offer additional convenience for your customers, the Linus L2 has stepped up the connectivity by offering interoperability with the entire Yale Smart Security Ecosystem. This includes the Yale Smart Alarm, Smart Camera Range and Smart Video Doorbell, as well as the Smart Storage range and Smart Gate and Garage opener, operated through the intuitive Yale Home app.

This connectivity allows for plenty of upsell opportunities for the trade, offering customers heightened convenience and security through a seamlessly connected security system from a trusted brand.

And with all these convenient features, the Linus L2 has also been designed to consider the simplicity of installation, ensuring that the trade can easily fit the product, alongside simplified instructions to set up the customer’s online credentials.
