Magenta Security named finalist for guarding and ESG excellence
Magenta Security Services has been named a finalist in two categories at the Security & Fire Awards for Excellence 2026, recognising both its security provision and its commitment to responsible business.
The company is shortlisted for Security Guarding Company of the Year, under £30 million annual turnover, and Security or Fire ESG (Environment, Social & Governance) Champion.
The double shortlisting brings together two longstanding priorities for Magenta: delivering dependable security services and taking responsibility for the impact of its operations on employees, communities and the environment.
Abbey Petkar, Managing Director of Magenta Security Services, said: “Being shortlisted in both categories means a great deal to our team. Our clients depend on us to protect their people, property and operations, and that starts with well-supported officers who take pride in their work.
“How we deliver that service matters just as much. Investing in our people, reducing our environmental impact and running an accountable business are all part of providing quality security. These finalist places recognise the work that goes into that every day, across the whole Magenta team.”
Magenta’s approach to guarding combines recruitment, training and employee support with services tailored to each client’s requirements. Established in 1995, the company provides security services to organisations across the UK, with its officers and operational teams central to maintaining standards and building lasting client relationships.
Its environmental programme includes investment in electric vehicles, solar-powered charging at its headquarters, energy-efficient infrastructure and digital systems that reduce paper use. These measures sit alongside its focus on staff welfare and support for community initiatives.
The ESG shortlisting follows Magenta’s three consecutive Sustainability Champion wins at the awards in 2023, 2024 and 2025, extending that recognition to the company’s wider approach to responsible business.
Abbey added: “We have spent more than 30 years building a business where service quality and responsibility go hand in hand. We are proud to see that approach recognised and grateful to our employees, clients and partners for helping us put it into practice.”
The winners will be announced on Monday 30 November 2026 at JW Marriott Grosvenor House, Park Lane, London.
