Be the next 'locksmith legend' with TradeLocks

* Dragons.jpgOne of the UK's leading locksmith and auto tool specialist is offering you the chance to join the ranks of locksmith legends Martin Pink, Chris Belcher, Don Braidwood and Nigel Tolley.

TradeLocks, based in Manchester, is inviting all locksmiths to face a panel of TradeLocks 'Dragons' as part of their not-to-be missed competition which will be launching at The Locksmiths' Exhibition 2012, 3rd-4th March.

The company is looking for the next innovative tool to be added to their exclusive Signature Range, which already features products designed and developed by some of the most respected figures in the locksmith world.

Not only will the winner see their design put into production and sold across the world through TradeLocks as part of the Signature Range, they will also receive £1,000 worth of tools of their choice from TradeLocks.

Managing Director David Jennings says: "At TradeLocks we are always on the lookout for the next big thing. If you have ever thought to yourself: "If only they developed a tool to do this..." or "I've made a tool to do that, no one else has, I'd love to see it in production", then this is your chance to see your ideas brought to life.

"Tradelocks will be launching the campaign at The Locksmiths' Exhibition and we want everyone to get involved and show us what they are made of."

All ideas will be judged by the Tradelocks Dragons:
- Martin Pink, one of the UK's leading locksmiths and product developers, will assess the technical aspects
- David Jennings, Managing Director at TradeLocks, will be judging the production and commercial viability
- Wendy Rushton, Financial Director, will be looking at all the financial aspects
- Chris Pankhurst, Sales Director, will assess the sales potential
- Sam Neville, Marketing Assistant - will judge the marketing aspects

The Dragons will then whittle the entries down to a shortlist of the best ideas. Those selected will then be asked to produce a short video to pitch their idea. Each video will be voted for by the Locksmith community. Votes by the Locksmith community will be taken into account before the Dragons make their final decision.

Do you have what it takes? Visit www.tradelocks.co.uk and tell TradeLocks your idea.
