Mul-T-Lock celebrates award success at IFSEC

* Mul-T-Lock-Award-Winner.jpgMul-T-Lock UK is celebrating after the newly launched Watchlock intelligent high security padlock won Physical Security Product of the Year at this year's IFSEC Security Industry Awards.

The award winning Watchlock from Mul-T-Lock combines a high security padlock, GPS locating system and SIM card based communication technologies to provide real time event and location information through email, text message or web based application.

The IFSEC Security awards, run in association with the British Security Industry Association (BSIA), were presented at a gala ceremony during the week of IFSEC and recognise products and technological advancements that have played a major part in the security industry.

The Physical Security Product of the Year category showcased the very highest quality physical security products that prevented or deterred access, with entries including locks, fencing, barriers and grilles.

Commenting on Mul-T-Lock's award success, Steve Ross, Managing Director for Mul-T-Lock, said: "The IFSEC awards have continually evolved with the changing landscape of security, introducing new categories and recognising truly innovative products and solutions. We were therefore very pleased that Watchlock, one of our most innovative padlock technologies to date, was a recipient of such a prestigious accolade.

"This is a fantastic achievement for Mul-T-Lock, long known for our high quality mechanical platforms, this enables us to demonstrate an acute ability to offer award winning electromechanical product solutions.

"The publicity generated by these awards should be beneficial for all our business partners, helping to raise the profile of Watchock and our growing access control product portfolio."

Watchlock utilises advances in GPS tracking technology, including a Real Time Locating System (RTLS), to track the location of the padlock at a predefined schedule or when any event is being served.

Supported by a secure server to offer personalised reports, with detailed and real time information, if operated with Mul-T-Lock's innovative CLIQ electromechanical solution, Watchlock can provide a complete audit trail of activity.

Watchlock's robust construction is ideally suited to serve any application, moving or stationary, or any market, commercial or residential, to ensure properties and possessions are kept as secure as possible.
